Terms of Service

1. Service overview

LilMuseum lets families preserve children's artwork in private digital galleries. Depending on the features enabled for your account or deployment, the service may include child profiles, artwork uploads, automated image processing, invite-based signup access controls, gallery sharing, collaborator access, and paid plan upgrades.

By accessing or using LilMuseum, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use LilMuseum on behalf of a household, organization, or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

2. Eligibility and responsibility for child data

LilMuseum is intended for use by parents, guardians, and other authorized adults. Children should not create accounts for themselves unless permitted by applicable law and under appropriate adult supervision.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload artwork, names, descriptions, or other content relating to a child, and for obtaining any consents required under applicable law.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for activity on your account. You must provide accurate signup details, maintain a valid email address, and keep access to your sign-in methods secure.

We may offer email one-time code sign-in and third-party sign-in methods such as Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, invited collaborators, and shared access links that you create.

LilMuseum may operate with open signup or temporary signup pauses. Access to the service is not guaranteed, and we may approve, decline, revoke, or limit signup invitations or access at our discretion.

4. Content and ownership

You keep ownership of the images and text you upload. You grant LilMuseum a limited license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service to you and the people you authorize.

This includes actions such as temporary quarantine during review, generating resized images and thumbnails, arranging artworks inside galleries, and making invited views or collaborator access work as intended.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload, share, or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate for a family-focused service. You also agree not to misuse, probe, interfere with, or disrupt the platform.

You must not:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use or share.
• Upload malware, automated spam, or content intended to harm the service or other users.
• Attempt to bypass plan limits, access controls, moderation, or security measures.
• Use LilMuseum to store or distribute inappropriate content, including sexual or abusive material.
• Use invite links, collaborator access, or guest viewing in a misleading or unauthorized way.

6. Moderation and enforcement

LilMuseum may use automated and manual review processes to detect unsafe or inappropriate uploads. Artwork may be quarantined while review is pending and may be rejected if it fails moderation or otherwise violates these terms.

We may remove content, revoke shared access, disable uploads, suspend accounts, or permanently ban or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe content or behavior is inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful to LilMuseum, its users, or third parties.

Repeated violations, attempts to evade enforcement, or severe violations may result in immediate account termination without prior notice.

7. Plans, billing, and refunds

LilMuseum may offer free and paid plans with different storage, artwork, collaborator, collection, or upload limits. Features and limits may change over time.

If billing is enabled for your deployment, payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for any taxes, fees, or charges associated with your subscription.

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing or plan features prospectively by updating the service or providing notice where required.

8. Availability, changes, and deletion

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, limits, processors, integrations, and pricing over time. We may also suspend access for abuse, security issues, moderation concerns, payment issues, or legal compliance.

You may stop using LilMuseum at any time. If you delete your account, account records are removed from the service and associated image files are deleted asynchronously by background processing. If you delete an individual artwork, it is hidden immediately and its image file is permanently removed within 7 days.

9. Disclaimer and limitation

LilMuseum is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LilMuseum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the service.
